2. Scope of Application
This policy applies to purchases made by consumers pursuant to the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005), unless otherwise provided for customized products.
3. Custom-Made or Personalized Products
Stainless steel boards and any other products manufactured according to the customer's specifications (including, by way of example, custom dimensions, drilling, finishes, engravings, or any other features requested at the time of ordering) are considered custom-made or clearly personalized goods.
Pursuant to Article 59 of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, the right of withdrawal does not apply to such products.
Once the order has been confirmed and production has begun, it will no longer be possible to cancel the order or request a refund due to a change of mind.
4. Standard (Non-Customized) Products
If the website also offers standard, non-customized products, consumer customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without providing any reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send written notice within the applicable time limit.
The product must be returned:
* undamaged;
* unused;
* complete with all accessories;
* in its original packaging, where possible.
Return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise specified by ALEF LAB S.r.l.
The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal. ALEF LAB S.r.l. may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer has provided proof that they have been shipped, whichever occurs first.
5. Damaged or Defective Products
The exclusion of the right of withdrawal does not affect the consumer's rights under the statutory legal guarantee of conformity.
If the product:
* has manufacturing defects;
* arrives damaged during transport;
* does not match the order placed;
the customer is invited to contact ALEF LAB S.r.l. promptly, providing photographs of both the product and its packaging.
Following the necessary verification, ALEF LAB S.r.l. will, at its discretion and in accordance with applicable law, repair or replace the product, or issue a refund.
6. Transport Damage
Upon delivery, customers are encouraged to inspect the packaging immediately for any visible damage.
If obvious damage is detected, it is advisable to accept the delivery with reservation or refuse the package if it is severely damaged, and promptly notify ALEF LAB S.r.l.
7. Refund Method
Any refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
The time required for the refund to be credited depends on the customer's bank or payment service provider.
